My name is Josh Parks. I’m a London based Lead compositor currently working at Important Looking Pirates.

I’m passionate about bridging the gap between education and the industry. For over 12 years, I’ve worked with universities to align their courses with real-world standards, helping students gain the skills they need to succeed.

I also founded CompositingPro, a VFX education company that creates tailored training programs. My students range from beginners to senior VFX supervisors, with many landing industry roles within just four months.

In 2023, I was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of West London for my contributions to VFX education.
